the easy stroll to gilliom-cherp nature park, just under 3 km away, makes it perfect for enjoying beautiful views in a relaxing atmosphere. with charles mill lake only about 3.5 km from here, it’s an ideal spot for weekend wanderers like me who love discovering scenic spots nearby.

stayed here after hearing unsettling reports, but honestly expected a royal treatment that never arrived. carpets are downright disgusting with stains everywhere, and as for fresh towels, good luck. no one even bothered to inform me that they were out of everything. i swear my stay could’ve been delightful, but alas, it just wasn't meant to be.

A few things made my stay memorable. The decor offered a unique charm that stood out. The room felt clean, and I appreciated the mini-fridge and microwave, which added convenience. The shower had great water pressure, making it refreshing after a long day. However, the carpet in the hallway looked a bit worn and could use a good cleaning. While I found the bed comfortable, the pillows were quite lumpy and not the usual type found in most motels. Breakfast seemed more like a morning option, but the waffle maker was a fun addition. On the downside, there were issues with the Wi-Fi. it functioned well in the lobby but not in the rooms, which was pretty frustrating. There was also a lack of breakfast items when I went down, and I noticed some maintenance could be improved in the common areas.

The staff was extremely accommodating, promptly offering a non-smoking room upon arrival. The ambiance had a unique charm, with quirky amenities, like a bar-style bottle opener in the bathroom.

The cleanliness could be improved. A thorough deep-clean would enhance the overall experience.
